At Om Baba, we have been creating beautiful bespoke meitais, making lotions and potions, and unleashing aromatic scents since 2009. Our range of products is all about celebrating and embracing pregnancy, birth, motherhood, love for our babies and family, and passion for plants and nature.

 

A devoted mother, classical musician, avid gardener, aromatherapist, acupressure therapy practitioner, as well as founder of NINO Babywearing South Africa, Jade Woo has a deep love for organic, whole food, herbalism, wildcrafting and creating unique, useful, handmade items from scratch for her loved ones. 

 

It has always been Jade’s dream to help people improve their health and well-being. Following that dream, Jade left the classical music field to pursue her childhood intearest, first in the field of Aromatherapy, then followed by Chinese Medical Bodywork which is based on meridian theory and Traditional Chinese herbal medicine.

 

But it was after giving birth to her son that truly changed her life and her heart. Om Baba was conceived after Jade's own journey into motherhood led her toward gentle parenting and eco-friendly, sustainable choices, and eventually developing and designing a range of product lines featuring organic soaps, balms, salves and potions designed to enhance the well being and health of mothers, and their ability to care for their babies, children and men.
